Post-Grad?

I followed Lucy over to The Blog Readability Test and found out that this blog rates post-grad. Hmm. Seems unlikely, maybe it's all the "technical knitting jargon" :-).

For some reason the site you and the sister linked couldn't find my blog to rate when I tried it. So I went looking for a tool that was a little less suspect and found this site, which rated my blog somewhere between the Wall Street Journal and the Guardian for readability with a 12.83 on the Gunning Fog index, and a Flesch-Kincaid Grade of 9.48, which hardly seems terrible at all. Your blog, on the other hand, rated a Flesch-Kincaid of 11.33 and 14.6 on the Gunning Fog, practically in academic paper territory. Don't ask me why, I know my blog reads more like a dry academic paper than yours ever does. It's just another way of telling lies with statistics.
